Caramel Popcorn made the old fashioned way. We pop our popcorn fresh and cook the caramel in a copper kettle and stir the popcorn in when finished. We use our own family recipe not a powdered mix you can purchase anywhere. This is not the same Caramel Corn you can buy at the store. It’s so good you’ll wish you had more.

Welcome to Wirth’s Caramel Corn. My grandfather Don Wirth purchased this business from the original founder in 1983. The original owner Herman Wirth founded the business and ran it for several years before. My name is J.D. Hall and I have decided to take over and carry on the family tradition as of October of 2019. Our Caramel Corn is not what you purchase at the store. We make our own caramel from scratch not a powder based mix. We pop our popcorn just before it is stirred into the caramel which is cooked in a copper kettle. We have always strived to deliver a delicious one of a kind handmade product made the same way since the the business was founded by Herman Wirth. I think most will agree it truly is the best caramel corn East of the Mississippi or west of too in my opinion. We currently attend four events in Parke County Indiana. The last weekend in February and first weekend in March is the Maple Fair at the Parke County Fairgrounds in Rockville Indiana, the Parke County Fair in July in Rockville Indiana, The Parke County Covered Bridge Festival under the big tent on the North side of the Parke County Courthouse Square in October, and finally Parke County Incorporated Christmas Market at the Parke County Fairgrounds in Rockville which this year is on November 30th and December 1st. Hopefully we will be able to add a few more events along the way and also hope to make some throughout the year occasionally which will be published on our Facebook page.
